Format

The Choice is Yours...

The Side Out Series rounds are held 8 times throughout the year. You can choose to play in as little or as many events as you want. Keep in mind though, the more you play the higher you will be ranked.

Competitions will be either 2, 3, 4 or 6 aside formats in either Mens / Ladies or Mixed competitions.

Who can play?

Side Out is open to everyone, no matter where you're from,

or your experience level.

You don't even need to be registered to Quicksand!

We have seen players from all over Australia compete in Side Out,

and not just from Rebound!

How does it all work?

The first part of the day is Round Robin format. This is where you will compete against other teams to determine your position on the leader board moving into the finals. Depending on the number of nominations teams may be split into pools.

The second part of the day is where the teams competing in the grand final are decided. Depending on your teams position on the leaderboard after the Round Robin component will impact your path to the grand final.

Every team is guaranteed 4 games per event. Regardless of your teams strength, the competition is structured so you end up playing evenly matched teams throughout the day.

Winning teams will receive various prizes depending on the round.

Participants will receive a player ranking based on their final placings at the end of each round. The top ranking male and female at the end of the series will be awarded Player of the Series.
